Welcome to ‘ CARE IN THE COMMUNICATORS ’
Wot are the Communicators - they are a 9 piece skanking bunch of nutters that play old skool Jamaican Ska, two tone classics & new wave Ska Punk, covers & originals! With a banging back line consisting of Drums, Bass, Percussion & Keyboards! Coupled with a red hot guitar player, Razor sharp Horn section and vocals from a Fat bloke in a whistle!
Covers by bands such as Madness, The Specials, The Beat, The Selecter & Bad Manners plus some skanked up versions of non Ska tunes!
Formed in the early part of 2005 The Communicators have not hung around in hitting Ska lovers with performances up and down the country and having a right good time in doing so!
With a Brass section Bad Manners would be proud of, a rock solid back line, great backing vocals and a front man that cuts the mustard not only vocally but in his skanking attitude also, The Communicators are a must see for any one that has ever worn a pair of Dr Martins or a Crombie!

As it happened
Man in pub makes gesture to Big Mitch, BM acknowledges (he’s a Skanker, or sommink that sounds similar) BM & Chris (Lightfoot) walk (Stagger) arm in arm to Skaville where they meet wiv Beaker(Matt – Trumpet) Stinky Pete (Pete -Trombone) Bones (Tony – Keyboards) Mossey Boy! (Chris – Sax) & Stretch (Nick – Bass) Kato (Adam – Drums). Captain Bongo – (Nick – Percussion) Lightfoot leaves in a purple haze in comes Sgt Stax – (Pete - Guitarist)
1st rehearsals consisted of getting battered in the snooker club (Hotshots!) and controlling the horney three and their 'WEAPONS OF BRASS DESTRUCTION' then Lightfoot turned into the great Houdini and legged it on down the road (Skinheads in toe, see band biog!) Since then they have grown in stature and popularity and the gigs have been STONKING!
